1. About These Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of electrical services by Mascon Electrical Services (ABN 14 692 146 044, ACN 692 146 044, EC Licence EC17339) to clients in Western Australia. By requesting a quote, accepting a quote or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

These terms do not limit any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) or other applicable legislation.

2. Quotes

All quotes provided by Mascon Electrical Services are:

Quotes may be revised if, upon commencing work, additional issues are identified that were not visible or reasonably foreseeable during the initial assessment (for example, concealed wiring faults or non-compliant previous work). We will notify you of any variation before proceeding.

Verbal estimates are indicative only. A written quote is required before any work commences.

Prices quoted are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless stated otherwise.

Payment is due within 7 days of completion of work unless a prior arrangement has been made in writing. Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of quoting.

For larger projects, a deposit or progress payments may be required. This will be outlined in your written quote.

Overdue invoices may attract a late payment fee and may be referred to a debt collection agency. Mascon Electrical Services reserves the right to withhold certificates of compliance until payment is received in full.

5. Workmanship Warranty

All electrical work carried out by Mascon Electrical Services is warranted against defects in workmanship. If a defect arises from our work within a reasonable period after completion, we will return to rectify it at no charge.

This warranty does not cover:

This warranty is in addition to, and does not limit, any consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.

6. Compliance & Certificates

All electrical work is carried out to Australian Standards (AS/NZS 3000) and in compliance with Western Australian electrical safety regulations. A Certificate of Electrical Compliance (CEC) will be provided where required by law upon full payment of the invoice.

Mascon Electrical Services holds EC Licence EC17339 issued by EnergySafety WA.

7. Cancellations & Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule a booked job by contacting us as soon as possible. We ask for at least 24 hours' notice where possible.

If we attend a site and are unable to carry out the work due to circumstances within your control (for example, no access, job scope significantly different from that quoted), a call-out fee may apply to cover travel and time costs.

To the extent permitted by law, Mascon Electrical Services' liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to:

We are not liable for indirect, consequential or economic loss arising from our services, except where such loss results from our negligence or breach of a statutory guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law.

Mascon Electrical Services holds appropriate public liability insurance.

9. Hazardous or Unsafe Conditions

If our electrician identifies a safety hazard on site that presents a risk to health or property, we reserve the right to pause or cease work until the hazard is addressed. We will advise you promptly of any such issues found.

We are required by law to report certain electrical safety hazards to EnergySafety WA regardless of client instruction.

Mascon Electrical Services may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website. Continued engagement of our services constitutes acceptance of the current terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia. Any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Western Australian courts.
